This coconut rough raw chocolate still has some incredible nutritional benefits as the raw chocolate contains raw coconut oil, raw cacao butter and raw cacao powder- they may sound like mere chocolate ingredients but they hold super food powers...let's take a look

Coconut Oil - coconut oil is the oil that is produced when coconut flesh is pressed. It's natural form is 100% raw, and vegan and is
widely used in raw recipes and raw vegan recipes. Coconut oil is the only oil that can be heated without changing to a trans fat so if you cook your food it is an excellent oil choice. Raw Vegan Coconut oil is one of the compounds that can actually pass through the body at a cellular level to get inside your hair follicles and skin to moisturize from inside out- it has been widely used as hair and skin care world wide. Raw Coconut oil is also very good for helping to maintain and regulate blood pressure, blood sugar levels, boost you immunity and speed up your metabolism. Add to the cart that eating it will make you very full it is an excellent way to kill sugar cravings and fast! So pop it in your favourite raw chocolate and you have an epic craving buster!
Cacao Butter- Cacao Butter is also 100% raw and Vegan in it's natural state. Just like raw coconut oil raw cacao butter has been used in conditioning , strengthening and softening hair and skin for generations. Cacao butter is used in fighting eczema and dermatitis and has immune boosting properties and heart health markers
Cacao Powder - Where do we start with raw cacao powder..super food status! My favourite benefit is the intense magnesium hit you get from it which is perfect for an active busy lifestyle. Magnesium is responsible for over 300 biochemical reactions in the body so it's really important. Insomnia, irritability, muscle pains, anxiety...? You may need some more raw chocolate! Raw Cacao Powder has almost four times the antioxidants of most foods. There are many components of cacao including alkaloids, proteins, beta-carotene, leucine, linoleic, lipase, lysine, and theobromine, that all work together to improve physical and mental health. For example, theombromine helps to stimulate the central nervous system, relax smooth muscles, and dilate blood vessels, giving the body a boost of energy; “bliss” chemicals found in cacao help to increase circulation and availability of serotonin and other neurotransmitters in brain, improving mood and combating depression.
Now your sold...time to make raw chocolate..haha
Raw Chocolate
raw vegan recipes- coconut rough
Ingredients
3 cups of dried shredded coconut ie.e dessicated coconut unsweetened
2 cups of raw unprocessed cacao powder _ eek yes it's alot!
1/3 cup of melted cacao butter
2 tbsp. of melted coconut oil
1/3 cup of honey/agave/maple syrup ( you pick depending on your view of theses!)
OR you can sweeten with a lower carb and lower calorie option- OH MY GOODNESS YAY!!!
Replace the 1/3 cup of honey with 1 tbsp honey/agave/maple syrup AND
1/2 cup of xylitol natural sweetener - my preference - Some people prefer stevia or would argue xylatols "not raw" but this is up to you..xylitol is good for your teeth, it tastes like sugar and has no chemical afteratse, it's made naturally and is low calorie..So I'm happy with it!
So go about 1/2 a cup and mix but if it's not sweet enough just add more until it's right
Let's make the lower calorie option today and you can change to just honey/agave/maple if you want to !

So here it is, melt the oil/butter, bang it in a bowl and mix it until its all mixed perfectly together. It should be quite hard to mix all the dry ingredeints in - this is what we want because it when it sets it will be a dlish hard chocolaty texture instead of oily...eeek raw vegan recipes for raw chocolate have never been so good!
So literally melt it, throw it in the bowl and mix till your hearts content..if it's even the tiniest bit wet add more coconut till its quite dense. You want to be able to pack it down into a tray ( not pour!) so pack your raw chocolate down into moulds or a baking tray and dont worry if it looks like its to crumbly it will set hard!
Coll in the fridge or freezer - within 20-30 mins it will be perfect for chomping!
Enjoy your raw chocolate, raw vegan recipe!
