I think if ever there was a raw recipe that topped them all in my books it's a well made raw muesli recipe with a chocolate topping. These puppy's deserve a five start gold medal  when it comes to flavor, nutrition and ease of making!
When it comes to sourcing the ingredients it's still better than candy if you just get supermarket brought nuts, dried fruit, coconut and dates etc but If your really wanting to benefit from the nutritional power pack you need to go organic and raw. I go to my local organic certified farmers market or I stop by one of the health food stores that specials in organic food. Sometimes it means buying bulk or making a few recipes at a time to use all the ingredients while they are fresh ( no preservatives so they can go rancid or depleted more quickly) but it's worth it and I tell you my body really feels the difference in energy and digestibility from eating raw recipes from organic food and produce
