Ingredients
1 cup of almond meal/flour (or just grind up in blender)
1 cup of  cashew meal/flour  (or just grind up in blender)
1 cup of soaked dates pitted
1/2 cup of shredded coconut
1/2 cup of cacao nibs
2 Tbs Agave
2 Tbs melted coconut oil

To make:
Blend dates, agave and coconut oil until a smooth paste forms. Add Cacao Powder and keep blending. Finally add the salt and the nut flour/meal and process until a chunky meal forms. Now remove and fold in the coconut and cacao nibs by hand. Roll into bite size balls and store in the cooler. 1. While this sounds yummy, cashews, shredded coconut & agave are not raw.

    2. It still beats the alternative, but unless you grow the cashews yourself, they wont be raw and I think agave is just unhealthy.

  4. to me this obsession with raw food seems as unhealthy as a MacDonalds meal... the cookies look yummy and i am gonna give it a try... agree with agave point. It got a high fructose content which is not that good... plus it needs to be processed a lot until it reaches the stage we know. I would give stevia a try, or just honey, really.

    1. appreciate your comment, but can you please list the ingredients inside of a McD's burger for us? If you did, you would quickly realize that raw food, is NOTHING like a McD's meal. When it comes to raw, I personally consume a lot of raw vegetables, some fruits, and on occasion, we will make some raw cookies. For me honey can be good, for vegans, agave is all they have an option for.

    2. Try Organic Rice Malt Syrup! As its a better alternative to Agave and Honey as it has less fructose in it.
